Holey Moley! The set was a success! So much of a success, I'm coming around for a victory lap! Whooo!

Thank you so much everybody for spreading the love! I honestly did not expect it, or intend it for that matter, to be this amazingly loved! I hope you all enjoy the new series!

stepping up to the plate, a lttile late in this thread, but nice work, finding all the pieces and all....

It always irked me, that lego never came out with a doctor who set, and now with the success and reinvention of the doctor since it's return, it irks me more!, with it's astounding popularity, and the fact that every other hob nob show gets a look in, lego wise, harry potter, indiana jones, etc etc, all good films of course, but where's the doc? C'mon Lego guys, step up to the bat allready!

The original intention was him jumping, because he's all "Yeah! I'm the new Doctor! Woopie!" ...Generaly
I think I'm beginning to regret doing it now though. Lol :D

Before David, Sylvester was my favourite. Now it's David Tennant all the way.

That's so cool!!!! I love Legos. Did you have to make them or are there actually Doctor Who Legos?

I made them from scratch. I took about two months to get all the parts, and about a week of shooting time. I did a series that lead to the debut of Matt Smith. A doctor a day if you will. :D [link]

Wow! They're so amazing. I really want them. Did you have all the parts or did you have to by them? And your welcome.

I had little less then half of them. That's sort of how it started. I built Eight and Ten first (Because I had the pieces. Different head and Screwdriver for Ten at the Time though [link] ).
I ordered from BrickLink, for some of the odd pieces for the TARDIS Interior [link] , and most of the the minifigs as well. :D
I really appreciate how much you enjoy them. Thanks! :D

The TARDIS is so cool! I like all your Star Wars stuff too. I'm probably being really annoying. Sorry.

Nonsense!
You're not being annoying!
I find it flattering. :D
Although I will admit, you are the first to go nuts for them. I love it! :D
Truth be told, I just started the pre-planing for the new TARDIS Interior I plan to make. I hope it doesn't take forever like the last one. :D

I love them so much because the involve two of my favorite things; legos and Doctor Who. I can't wait to see the new TARDIS! Did you make an Amy yet?

Yeah, multiple times actually. Same with Rory, but she never seems to be "Just right".
I've mapped out her out for pieces I need to make a really good one. The hair I have doesn't quite work with her, so that's why I'll keep brain storming until I can get my hands on Ginny's Hair [link]
Also when these new Harry Potter Sets release, I'll probably remake Seven, and change Four's head. [link]

It's a shame how few Lego fans don't even know what DW is in the first place. The Set's would have such a good potential. :)

I feel bad that I've never ever watched a full TW or SJA episode to the end. So frankly I don't know much about the basics other then that they were both spin offs during Series 2.
